RMA Policy

All goods requiring warranty repair shall be sent freight prepaid to Mace, Dallas with an RMA Number. The RMA Number must be written on the label or outside of the package.  Items returned without an RMA number and the accompanying RMA Form will be refused. Call Mace Technical Support at (866)392-MACE (Monday to Friday 9AM to 6PM EST) to obtain an RMA authorization number. The Technical Department will attempt to correct or resolve the issue before issuing an RMA. Please be prepared to troubleshoot the item with the Technician. If the problem is not resolved and the item is under warranty then an RMA Number will be issued. Keep this number as your record.

Complete the RMA Form [download RMA Form here]* (details product, RMA number, problem, components etc.) and enclose it in the return package. Items should be returned in the original packaging with all components. Write the RMA number on the outside of the package. Items without an RMA number on the package will be refused.

Items may only be returned for credit within 60-days of purchase. Complete new in the box items less than 30-days old will not be charged a restocking fee. Damaged or incomplete items may not be returned for credit (warranty applies). Items 30-60-days may be returned new in the box and will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee.
